1. What this site is
Heartland Bigfoot is a community-driven tracker of reported Sasquatch / Bigfoot sightings across Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio. Reports on the map are user-submitted and have not been independently verified. The site is informational only — we don't claim the sightings are real, and we don't claim they're fake. We're a place for the reports to live.
2. Site use
You're welcome to browse, share links, and submit reports. Please don't:
- Scrape the site for bulk republication without permission
- Submit false reports designed to mislead
- Submit reports containing personal information about people who haven't consented to be identified
- Use the site to harass, threaten, or defame anyone
3. Sighting submissions
- You retain rights to your report.
- We may edit for clarity, length, or to remove identifying details.
- We may decline to publish any submission at our discretion.
- Once published, your report may be referenced or quoted elsewhere; we don't claim copyright over it.
4. No warranties
The site is provided "as is." We don't warrant that sightings are accurate, that the map is error-free, or that the service will be uninterrupted. Cryptozoology is a topic where reasonable people disagree — we present the data, not the conclusion.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Heartland Bigfoot and its operators aren't liable for any damages arising from your use of the site.
6. Affiliate links and merchandise
The site may link to merchandise (shirts, mugs, stickers) via Printify, Shopify, or other platforms. If we link to a product, we may earn a small commission — this doesn't change the price for you. Affiliate relationships will be disclosed where applicable.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
